NOTICE:

Engineering Cell, SLEE

The Engineering Cell of the Skills, Labour, Employment, and Entrepreneurship (SLEE) Department, Government of Manipur, was established by restructuring the erstwhile Manipur State Cooperative Union Technical Engineering Cell (MSCUTEC). Previously functioning as a society, MSCUTEC has now been transformed into a fully-fledged government department to enhance its operational efficiency and extend its impact on infrastructure and skill development initiatives.
This restructuring was formalized through an Order issued by the Hon'ble Governor of Manipur on 25th October 2024. It follows:

The Cabinet decision taken in its meeting held on 21st August 2024.
Approval by the Finance Department (PIC), Government of Manipur (U.O No. 117/2024-2025/FD(PIC) dated 10th October 2024).
Endorsement by the Department of Personnel, Government of Manipur (U.O No. 56/2024-2025/DP dated 24th October 2024).

Vision and Purpose : The formation of the Engineering Cell, SLEE marks a strategic move to align technical resources with the department's broader mission of skills development, labour management, employment creation, and fostering entrepreneurship. By integrating MSCUTEC into the SLEE framework, the Government of Manipur seeks to streamline the implementation of technical projects and address the state's development needs more effectively. The Engineering Cell will spearhead infrastructure initiatives and drive impactful projects that empower individuals and strengthen communities across the state.
